Email to Senator and Representative   Send an email to your state Senator and your state Representative (Assemblyman) to ask them to back legislation to control billboard proliferation. 1. This is the message that will be sent to your Senator and Representative. Feel free to modify it or add to it as you see fit. Just type in or delete whatever you want. The more original the message is, the more seriously it is taken by the representative.

I have noticed more and more billboards along the roads and in the landscape. These large signs are ruining the scenery and the charm of Wisconsin. I have no use for outdoor advertising and I object to annoying commercial messages that I cannot avoid seeing. I urge you to sponsor or co-sponsor legislation that will prevent the construction of any more billboards, similar to laws in six other states and several large cities. There are enough billboards out there to advertise all the hotels, restaurants and gas stations. The other products and services can be advertised on TV or radio, or in newspapers and magazines. I appreciate the good things that you have done for the state of Wisconsin. Please take action to save our scenery. 2.
